-ABOUT NICOLE -
Nicole De Laurentis, located in Washington State is an active trainer and coach within the equestrian community. Nicole frequently travels to coach and has a passion for creating strong, balanced riders and equines within her various programs. Nicole instructs using tailored teaching approaches and various outside the box techniques including DNI and NSM to help students understand the how and why during instruction. Nicole has an exceptional sales and training program which includes personal and client horses. She strives to train and sell high quality, even tempered horses that are balanced, light and uphill.
Throughout her career she has worked most commonly with Friesians, Dutch/Swedish Warmbloods, and OTTBs. Nicole is available to instruct dressage, western dressage, recreational riding, driving and foundation work for the young horse.
- TRAINING PHILOSOPHY -
Nicole De Laurentis, is a classically taught dressage trainer who implements the German training scale in her work. She incorporates methods and techniques of training and teaching from various trainers she has worked with, predominately Dr. Gerd Heuschman and Grand Prix dressage rider Natasha Althoff-Kelly.
Nicole is FME, TYS and ARIA certified. She focuses on equestrian and equine biomechanics throughout her programs. Nicole implements EquiBands for the rider, as well as FME balls, body wraps, and weights during sessions. These tools help to create and maintain proprioception while increasing stability and strength.
